I have couple problems. No water in ice maker and the ice dispenser not churning. I am getting drinking water thru the door. The complete freezer door(under warranty) was replaced 5 years ago for not producing ice. Just checked the wiring at the freezer door bottom hinge and have at least 4 broken wires caused by the pinching action of the hinge. Lots going on at that bottom hinge area(looks like the 2 water tubes and another electrical line going literally thru the center of the hinge/pivot area are in excellent condition). Should have made that pivot hole big enough for one more electrical line. Anyway, will try to solder those wires back soon.

After you change filter and reset, are you supposed to run a gallon equivalent of water out of the water dispenser?

Hello, so my AirPods just got found and they are the pros, and they were in lost mode for a while and when I try to reconnect to them it just says to hold down the button and when I do to set them up it doesn’t seem to do anything

Hi Handy. Good video. One item that differed between my owner's manual and your video is the following info from my owner's Manual: "Once the water begins to flow, continue depressing and releasing the dispenser pad (5 seconds on, 5 seconds off) until a total of 3 gals. (12 L) has been dispensed." The frig is a new Whirlpool purchased Jan 2024. I have two theories on why they specify this: (1) Closing the water supply valve via the water dispenser "shocks" the water system every 5 seconds when the solenoid valve closes. This could cause additional particles to dislodge. (2) Keeping the solenoid valve energized while you pump 3 gallons could cause it to overheat. Of course, the repeated ON-OFF every 5 seconds doesn't seem really great for it either! I don't know that either of these is accurate..... just my initial thoughts.

There's supposed to be a cheat-sheet that comes with the fridge that explains how to use the control panel to enter the diagnostic mode and run different tests, force a defrost cycle, etc. Mine didn't come with one so I'm wondering if anyone else has one??
